Grace:

To empower our home-makers with soft skills, life skills and confidence and to engage them with some meaningful programs. Home-makers or home-engineers often don’t get the acknowledgement they deserve and also lack the confidence to be able to learn new skills. Through Grace, we want to make a small contribution in their lives by ensuring that they have some quintessential skills in their kitty, as a result of which, they feel empowered. On the other hand, they have several life skills and talents which they can impart to others.

Skills included in our Program:

• Smiling Tiffin – innovative tiffin ideas (cooking and decorating) to ensure that the kids complete their lunch box daily. (discussion).
• Kitchen farming – growing herbs and vegetables organically and also recycling kitchen waste (discussion).
• Basic digital literacy – Learn how to open and maintain social media accounts, email-writing, etc.
• Get Online – transactions, reservations, shopping, etc.
• Chocolate making – treat for everyone.
• Interior decoration – aesthetics/colour combination/placement.
• Basic Home maintenance – Repair of leakages, fixing a bulb, etc.
• Doctor at Home -home remedies and cure for small illnesses (discussion).
• Creative recycling – recycling notebooks, plastic bottles, glass jars, old dresses, etc.
• Getting Tech Savvy – handling smartphones.
• English Conversation – Simple, daily use conversation.
• Basic Computer – Office and Google.
• Conservation – tips to reduce electric, gas, etc thereby cutting down costs as well as saving resources.
• Household Tips and Tricks Discussion – Low level pest control, cooking tips,budget tips,etc.
